Communications Coordinator, Town of Brattleboro

In 2022, I was hired by the Town of Brattleboro to lead the redevelopment of the Town’s website, its first major overhaul in more than a decade. Working with the Vermont-based web developers, Edgeworks Creative, I guided the project from planning through launch, providing regular updates to the Selectboard, municipal departments, and the public.
In addition to managing the website project, I expanded the Town’s communications efforts by writing press releases, managing social media channels, creating a monthly newsletter, and launching the Town’s Instagram account and YouTube channel. Following the successful launch of the website in 2024, I assumed ongoing responsibility for site maintenance and development, ensuring the platform remains an effective and accessible resource for the public.

- Serves as the in-house graphic designer. Develops digital graphics and print materials, including flyers, brochures, handouts and infographics. Provides layout for annual reports, plans, and presentations.

- Produces a podcast hosted by the Town Manager.

Marketing Specialist, Coastline Elderly Service

At the nonprofit, Coastline Elderly Services, which is based in New Bedford, MA, I led the agency’s marketing efforts and was solely responsible for a monthly newspaper that the company acquired in 2018 called Senior Scope. The paper, popular since its launch in the mid-80s, is geared toward older adults, promoting health and well-being while advocating for its readership.
