Senior Scope design overhaul

In Spring 2016, I began work at Senior Scope, a grant- and municipal-funded newspaper promoting senior health in southern Massachusetts. The paper, which was nearing its 30th anniversary when I assumed the role of Editor, was, in my estimation, in need of a redesign.

The former Editor had sent layout instructions to a printing company, and a third-party designer would handle layout. This led to busy, unorganized copy.

Using my knowledge of InDesign, I took on all layout responsibilities and overhauled the paper to add to clarity and flow.

The paper did not have a proper website, either. I created one, which has helped Coastline distribute the paper throughout the state.
